From the rota to the clock

Plan it. Check in. Check out.

Plan the week

On the rota

  1. Add shifts for each person and publish the week
  2. Staff see when they are expected
  3. Copy last week to save time

You stay in control

  • The rota is the rule: no shift, no clock-in
  • Clocking in is allowed from 30 minutes early by default
  • Choose to block, or just flag, clock-ins outside the rota

Check in and check out

On their own phone

  1. Scan the QR or type the code on the business screen. It changes every 30 seconds
  2. Clock in at the start of the shift
  3. Clock out at the end. A missed clock-out is flagged and you are alerted

Checks you choose

  • Wrong codes are locked out after a few tries
  • A new phone is flagged for review
  • Optional location check at clock-in and clock-out

Optional check-in zone

Only clock in where the work is.

Switch on the location check and choose what happens when someone clocks in away from your premises: block it, or let it through with a flag for you to review. With the rota as well, the wrong person or the wrong place does not slip by.

  • Anna: inside the zone, on the rotaShe can check in.
  • Lea: inside the zone, no shift todayBlocked, or flagged for you, as you choose.
  • Tom: away from the premisesBlocked, or flagged for you, as you choose.

The location check is off until you switch it on. Location is read only at the moment someone clocks in or out.

A glimpse of Zuno Team

Working hours.
With context.

Give managers the information to review a shift, rather than guessing from a start and finish time.

  • Location and business-connection checks at clock-in/out
  • Flags for exceptions such as missed clock-outs
  • Corrections with a reason and history

Checks that follow your rules.

Location and business connection

Set your business location and allowed radius, and save the business internet connection. Checks run at clock-in and clock-out. Choose off, flag or block; this is not continuous location tracking.

Changing codes and shift windows

The displayed clock-in code changes every 30 seconds. Repeated wrong codes are blocked. Configure the allowed early window and how clock-ins without a shift are handled.

Optional app screen restrictions

For selected staff, lock the app screen outside a published shift window or while they are not clocked in. Owners and admins retain access. This screen lock is separate from account permissions.

Timesheets, corrections and approvals

Review planned and worked hours, new-phone or missed-clock-out flags, and timesheets. Make corrections with a reason and history, then approve the week and download hours.

Separate from appointment booking

Use Team on its own or as an add-on. It handles staff rotas and time records; Appointments separately handles client bookings and bookable rows.
